Service Description
Discover the art of candle making at Hamilton and Morris with our lovely founder, Joan Robertson, an experienced ex-teacher and candle maker. In this fun two-hour session, pick your favorite vessel and fragrance, design your own label, and craft a special 220g candle with Joan's expert guidance. Learn the science of candle making while creating a personalized touch for your home decor, adding warmth and coziness to every corner. Classes will host a maximum of 12 people. This is the final workshop leading up to Christmas. Bring friends and family and get into the Christmas spirit making your own festive candle. Vessels will be available in traditional Christmas colours red and green, as well as frosted glass and white. Choose between delicious festive scents like Apple and Cinnamon; Christmas Spice; and Frankincense and Myrrh. Then give your candle a unique touch by using one of our festive candle labels (optional). Christmas themed nibbles, soft drinks and mulled wine are provided as part of the experience. Please advise of any dietary requirements. The event will take place in the classroom space of Fire Station Creative based in the centre of the city of Dunfermline. Treat yourself to lunch before our class or enjoy a drink after. Please note that candles require time to set. This means you will not be able to take the candle away with you after the class. Arrangements can be made at the class to collect the candle or to have it posted out.

Cancellation Policy
Children cannot be booked onto the course unless accompanied by an adult. The child must be 10 years or over. The accompanying adult will be asked to sign a disclaimer taking full responsibility for the child's safety while attending the course. Booking: All classes must be booked and paid for in advance through our online booking system or app. Cancellation by the Attendee: Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance will receive a full credit to their account for future use. Cancellation notifications must be made by email to Hamiltonmorriscandles@gmail.com within the prescribed time. Late Cancellation: Cancellations within 24 hours of the start time are considered "late" and will be charged at full price. No-Show Policy: Failure to attend without notice (no-show) will result in forfeiture of the class fee. Cancellation by the organiser: Classes require a minimum of 8 people to run. If a class fails to reach a minimum of 8 people, the organisers reserve the right to cancel. The organisers will endevour to give as much notice as possible of cancellation. If a class is cancelled, you will receive the option to book a later date or receive a full refund.
